After opening for business in 2005, the four-star Safi Landmark Hotel & Suites in Kabul, Afghanistan, quickly rose to prominence.

The hotel has 40 one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites in addition to 90 guest rooms with opulent furnishings.

Job Description:

  • As soon as visitors arrive at the workplace, provide a warm greeting to them.
  • Always have a cheerful attitude and keep the front desk and reception area tidy.
  • Assist guests in reaching the right person or office and take, filter, and forward incoming calls.
  • Uphold office security by adhering to safety protocols and managing entry via the reception desk (keeping an eye on the visitor book and issuing badges).
  • Make travel and lodging arrangements, create vouchers, and maintain up-to-date records of office expenditures.
  • Assigning rooms to visitors, giving them keys, creating room invoices, and making sure they pay on time.
  • Complete all duties related to check-in and check-out, and promptly and professionally address customer concerns.
  • Work together with our cleaning team to make sure every room is spotless, well-furnished, and ready to receive visitors.
  • Verify group bookings and set up specialized services for VIP clients and event participants.
  • Communicate with the appropriate personnel, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to resolve any issues or grievances that visitors may have.
  • Inform visitors about food alternatives, services, and activities in the area.
  • Produce incident reports, activity logs for each day, or any other records that management requests.

Job Requirements:

  • solid background working as a front desk agent, receptionist, or in a position comparable.
  • Strong IT abilities, familiarity with booking systems, Microsoft Office proficiency, and IDS software understanding.
  • strong verbal and writing communication abilities as well as outstanding organizing abilities.
  • A high school diploma is required; extra office management certification is preferred.
  • flexibility and the capacity to react correctly in circumstances that change.
