An innovative non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to protecting the environment and strengthening communities is called Resilience, Environment, and Humanitarian Aid (REHA). Having obtained official registration with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economy, REHA is a specialist organization committed to promoting constructive transformation and enhancing resilience.
The three main pillars of REHA’s mission are catastrophe risk reduction, climate change resilience and adaptation, and environmental conservation. The organization takes on these difficult problems head-on by using a thorough and creative strategy that combines “hard” and “soft” solutions to produce noticeable results.
The “hard interventions” of REHA take the form of well-thought-out physical projects, state-of-the-art engineering solutions, and strong infrastructure development that lessen the consequences of environmental risks and climate change. In addition to these concrete measures, the organization’s “soft interventions”—which include lobbying, policy formulation, awareness campaigns, information sharing, capacity-building, and awareness campaigns—empower communities.
At REHA, we actively influence the future rather than just watching it happen. The organization is strengthening the foundations of a future where environmental harmony, humanitarian help, and resilience come together to build a brighter, more secure tomorrow for everyone via its ground-breaking programs and cooperative collaborations.
Job Description:
- Create and carry out a thorough communication plan in line with the goals, vision, and purpose of REHA.
- Make sure that all internal and external communication channels—including conventional media, internet platforms, and stakeholder engagement—are operating efficiently.
- Organize the development and distribution of REHA’s main narratives, thought leadership pieces, and messaging.
- Develop and maintain solid connections with a wide variety of stakeholders, such as governmental bodies, foreign organizations, the media, and neighborhood associations.
- In order to increase awareness of REHA and highlight its activities, represent the organization in pertinent conferences, events, and platforms.
- Create, schedule, and oversee REHA’s events, including conferences, seminars, meetings, advocacy campaigns, and celebrations.
- Work together with other members of the REHA team to find and seize chances for strategic partnerships.
- Act as the main point of contact for the media on behalf of REHA, answering questions from the press and aggressively submitting articles to national, regional, and local publications.
- Create and carry out a strong media relations plan to increase REHA’s influence and outreach.
- In charge of coordinating the creation and dissemination of media advisories, press releases, and other marketing collateral.
