Job Description:
- Ensure that your assets and equipment registration is up to date and correct.
- Oversee the field office’s NetSuite asset tracker for every asset.
- Maintain and update the NetSuite Asset tracker as well as the movement and transfer of assets to other departments, offices, and healthcare facilities. Â
- Take a physical inventory of every asset and confirm that the asset register database matches the tag number, location, usage, condition, and other specifications.
- Count the assets physically and mark out-of-date items for disposal.
- Give the program staff daily assistance with asset assignment and transfer.
- Keep an accurate database and filing system for all assets.
- Maintain the Asset Assignment Form for all assets belonging to employees and medical facilities, and assign asset tag numbers to assets in accordance with RI assets policy.
- Create an inventory of assets for donation, disposal, and loss and damage reporting for any reported lost or damaged assets.
- Examine all damaged assets and choose the most economical way to fix them.
- Oversee the assets and inventory in the storeroom/warehouse and make sure that all RI warehouse rules and procedures are followed at all times.
- Make sure the warehouse or storage is clean, safe, orderly, and displays any damage or waste to the merchandise. Â
- Analyze each year the demands for stationary, consumables, cleaning supplies, and utilities for every healthcare facility.
- Make arrangements for the timely and efficient delivery of supplies to all medical institutions.
- Whether the assets were donated to the Filed office or were acquired directly by RI, all assets received there must have a GRN prepared.
- Prepare a monthly GIK reconciliation report to finance on the flow of donated assets and oversee the GIK tracker for all assets given to RI.
- Oversee the efficient and reliable operation of ICT/communication devices (such as computers, laptops, printers, and network equipment).Â
- Make sure that the Internet and LAN (wired and Wi-Fi) networks in the offices and other spaces that RI rents are reliable and running well. Communicate with ISP providers as needed.
- Determine your requirements for IT and equipment and provide advice on them, along with a purchase suggestion.
- carry out any additional tasks that the line manager assigns.
