Job Description:

The following responsibilities will be carried out by the AIM/IM/EOD Assistant Team Leader in opposition to the team leader:

  • Support for the team leader’s commanding and safe operation is provided by the AIM/IM/EOD Assistant Team Leader.
  • The AIM/IM/EOD Assistant Team Leader follows the AIM/IM/EOD SOP in carrying out his daily tasks.
  • AIM/IM/EOD Assistant Team Leader verifies all field requirements both prior to arriving at the job site and upon completion of the task.
  • AIM/IM/EOD Asst. Team Leader: In the event that the team leader is not present, he or she will first check on the UXO/IM and then, after doing research and evaluating the situation, he or she will update the staff on their performance.
  • The task’s security and field risk assessment are the responsibility of the AIM/IM/EOD Assistant Team Leader.
  • Team leaders AIM, IM, and EOD assistants will be under full charge of their personnel and equipment.
  • The AIM/IM/EOD Assistant Team Leader is in charge of explosive transportation, transposition, security, and record-keeping.
  • Report collection, analysis, and submission to the team leader are the responsibilities of the AIM/IM/EOD Assistant Team Leader.

Job Requirements:

Credentials, Background, and Abilities:

  1. graduate from grades 10–12
  2. must have successfully completed the IM/IED, EOD level 1, 2, 3, and 4 courses.
  3. need to have spent at least ten years serving as an operator’s assistant for EOD, AIM, and IED teams.
  4. Basic understanding of the English language
  5. Able to collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural, linguistic, and ethnic backgrounds
  6. ATC-experienced candidates will be given preference.

Understanding, aptitude, and competency

  • fluent in Pashto and Dari
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • willing to take instructions and advice from superiors.
  • capable of productive, autonomous work.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities; personal dedication; efficiency; adaptability.
  • Capacity to collaborate well and amicably with coworkers from various professional and cultural backgrounds.
